The other day after he had a snack and later did some sidewalk chalk “art” in the driveway, he ran around chasing bubbles and laughing as the bubble machine spit them out by the hundreds. And when he stopped for just a moment I snapped this picture (please notice snack on shirt and chalk on face). I never wanted the bubbles to stop coming because I could listen to the sound of his sweet, sweet laughs ALL. DAY.
And they ARE glorious. But then, I sat and wondered where my baby went and how I let two years just fly right on by. Bad, bad Mommy!
So yeah, it’s almost here and I have to live with it (the birthday, that is). Father Time needs to become a couch potato and stop marching on so dang-blasted fast. Just a suggestion, Sir.
And just so y’all know, I think I kiss that face about 80 billion times a day. It’s just SO incredibly easy…
