I know it’s probably already getting old and it’s just starting. You know, about the moving and all but well, that’s kinda my life right now, so here it is again. Something about moving. But I included a pretty picture, so at least there’s some eye candy to get you through…
This is a bloom on the hydrangea plant that came in a basket of flowers that Tim’s co-workers sent to the hospital when Little G was born. My mother planted this bush in our front flower bed while she was here helping after he was born and there it will stay. I debated about digging it up and taking it with us but I doubt it would survive the move and the poor plant trauma. So, I’m taking a photograph instead and hoping that whoever buys our house takes good care of my baby’s pretty plant…
All the Wordful Wednesday action is over at Seven Clown Circus. Go see!
I HEART hydrangeas. I have 7 established bushes at my new house, and buds are just starting to appear. I can’t wait to see what color they all are.
How pretty!!!
I would be so sad to leave that behind! It is lovely!
Girl, I would have to dig that beauty up and have it shipped… don’t know how but I would so try, lol.
Beautiful!
Y’all DO realize she’s not kidding when she says she’s just getting started on the nostalgic move-themed posts, right? right?? Love you, babe…
Beautiful hydrangea….I can see why you thought about taking it with you!
It’s gorgeous, sweetie. And I never thought about the plants that would be left behind…so many memories everywhere.
(((hugs))) honey! And I love reading about the move…it’s a huge step and a new chapter.
I love hydrangeas! You can plant a new bush at the new house when baby girl arrives…
I would want to take it with my too…plant trauma seems like the wrong answer though;)

Oh my goodness, that would be hard to leave behind… but pictures are good and you have a story to tell G when he’s older
That will be hard to leave behind. . .take a clipping and start a new plant in your next house!
