This week is all Halloween themed photos from Thursday through Saturday. The kids had a party at their little school on Thursday. On Halloween night we went to “Trunk or Treat” at our church which includes a parking lot full of decorated trunks and folks giving out candy from there, as well as a carnival inside the gym. Then Saturday we attended a Halloween party at a local park. Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday!
Here are the boys and Anna ready for school on Thursday which was party day. Aren’t they cute?

Great pics! Looks like a lot of fun!
Looks like they had so much fun!! I love the Lion costume!
Hi Elaine
“Trunk or treat” sounds like so much fun. Holloween does not seem to be a big thing here in Australia (at least where I live anyway), but I am getting such a thrill out of learning about all of the great things my blogging buddies get up to. We didn’t have anyone in costumes come and trick or treat at our house this year. Last year, we got one knock at the door and I was so excited to give the little girl some chocolates I had bought just in case we had someone come by.
The Valencia Hotel sure does look swanky, just what you deserve for a girls getaway. I think it is wonderful that you went back to visit the house that you lived in for the first part of your life and how cool to have a photo standing oustide 32 years later.
I was happy to read that you girls are planning on having a girls getaway on an annual basis – I think an yearly event sounds like a perfect idea.
Lots of love
Elise
Cutie, cuties! Did you do the t-shirts?
And I have never heard of trunk or treat, sounds cool!
Great Halloween shots Elaine… Trunk or treat, that is cute!

I love the ghost costume! My son, Benny, was a ghost like that one year and it’s been one of my faves since.
Great shots of such a fun-filled time!
Great pictures, they sure had fun!! I just love the “I had enough” lion, too cute!
Great pics! I’ve never been to a Trunk or Treat, but I can imagine your trunk was the most fun looking.
Looks like a fun filled week!
Beautiful photos, Elaine! Love ’em! Those boys are sooooo adorable. And I love Trunk or Treat – that is genius!!!
All of your kids are adorable but Little G is a heartstealer! You are SO lucky it is warm for halloween there – much better costume alternatives than here in the cold northeast!
Cute, cute costumes! I’ve heard of trunk-or-treat, and it’s a great idea.
Your kids are adorable.
Awww, love that first shot of all of them, SO CUTE!
Looks like a great party
And jealous that you are in shorts at the end of October but you likely already knew that
trick or trunk. I always loved that idea.
So adorable!!! Great job with the pix!
Nice pics, thanks for sharing them! Looks like a fun Halloween!
Wonderful collection of photos! Looks like they had lots of fun!
Cuteness overload! I’m glad yall had a good Halloween. The costumes are all great, but I must say Gav’s shirt in the first shot is the best!
Aw, these are just adorable! I love the one of the kids all together by the door, and I think Trunk or Treat is an awesome idea! Fun shots.
Oooh! Looks like a fun time was had by all!!! Cutest lion and ghost I’ve ever seen!!!!
It looks like you all had a great time celebrating!
Their Halloween themed outfits are adorable!
And I love the one where he’s reading with his lion head on. Cute!
In neighborhoods like those of my parents, I think young families tend to find alternate activities (like Trunk or Treat) because so many retirees on their streets don’t participate and there’s no where to go. Our street was pretty decked out. Pics on my blog.
I’d love a candy corn shirt like the one your little one has.
A boy and his balloon and the sleepy lion costume
Awwww @ I’ve Had Enough!
They are so scary…I mean CUTE!
Everyone looks like they had a great time!
OOOHHH I LOVE that pink pumpkin!!!!
Looks like you all had loads of fun!!
great pictures – poor little lion!!
That pic of the trunk is my Mom’s car…too funny! And those were Brennan and Evan’s carved pumpkins. My Mom wasn’t going to do too much to decorate so I chipped in the $1.50 tablecloth from Big Lots and the pumpkins. Good to see ya at church!
I loved Truck or Treat this is the first year I had heard of it and thought it was the cutest idea!
OH what great shots.. look like you all had a wonderful time..
Trunk or treat is something I have only heard of from my TX blogging friends.. have never seen it in person.. but it looks like fun.
