The kids and I walk basically the same route around our neighborhood in the afternoons or early evenings whenever the weather is nice enough (meaning not too hot or humid at this point). The boys ride their bikes and I pull K in the green wagon as we make our way around the few familiar blocks.
Depending on the season something is always blooming here. I usually take some time to stop and marvel at whatever gorgeous flower is popping out and calling for my attention. From Camellias in the winter to Gerber daisies in the fall, it’s like a flower show here all year around. And I love it.
I also love that I have my babies to see all the beauty as they go with me, even though they might complain just a bit as I stop a few a lot of times to capture it with my camera – to immortalize each bloom that amazes me, like snowflakes, no two the exact same. What can I say? It’s just all too beautiful to resist…
Kinda like my babies.
Girlfriend rocking those shorts! xoxo

Y’all look so great.
Hydrangeas are my favorite.
Lovely. Hydrangeas are my favorite flowers, and I don’t have one bush planted in my yard. Something every year I vow to change.
One of my favorite things to do with my kids is take a walk with them.
Gorgeous flowers but an even more gorgeous picture of you & your kids! Happy Belated Mother’s Day to you as well! Thanks for stopping by my blog today
Happy Mother’s Day. I love the picture of you and your gorgeous kids and the flowers are stunning@
I love that second shot! And you look great with your kids. What a great framable pic!
I love everything about this post. Awesome.
Aw, beautiful pictures, Elaine. I love the summer because it means spending countless hours outside with my boys, enjoying nature, visits the park, swimming, walks… taking it all in!
What a great shot! My girls would try to steal the camera and take the pictures on their own! Boys and girls…so different sometimes.
