Yes, Thursday nights have Grey’s and they hold the promise of Friday just around the corner. But lately, they also mean the return of my husband from his bi-weekly business trips. So today, I pay tribute to the same night of the week that I hear the garage door go up, as I sit waiting to hug and kiss my man again after his 4 day, 3 night absence.

Once he comes in he usually goes to shower so he can “wash the plane off” of himself and then he comes to the sofa and snuggles up next to me and tells me how much he missed me and how glad he is to be home. And then I say the same thing. And the best part? We both really mean it.

What could be better than that?

So here’s to Thursday night. Cheers! {lifting my glass of milk…}
