In this second assignment for our photo workshop at From the Rubber Room, we learned about the white balance options on our camera. I must say I learned a lot this time. Before Hallie’s tutorial and explanations I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA this was even on my camera. Now I do.
The assignment was to take a picture of the same thing outdoors at different times of the day with the “day light” option set. Here are the 3 photos I managed to get at morning, noon and evening. The color differences are really quite amazing to me. (please pay no attention to the wilting foliage in the one photo. it’s really hot here these days…)

Yay for learning how to use your camera!
Nothing makes me happier than to see people understand what they can do with their gear!

Isn’t it amazing the difference the light can make?! Not so nice the difference the sun can make on our poor little bedragled plants…

I need to learn these things you’re learning! I like all three pix, but the third one is my fav.

Oh I forgot to do this one!
Great flower bed by the way, pretty…

What?
There is a website that is offering a photo workshop?
Why didn’t someone tell me?
That is fabulous!!!
