Last Friday I took my kids’ lives in my hands by insisting that they let me take some professional-ish photos of them.
You know for posterity and Christmas cards and stuff.
I present you with the results. With added commentary.
I like to call this little set “When we first got there and things were going okay.”
Then things started to not be so okay.
See, two of my kids insisted on bringing stuffed animals with them. And somehow this park turned into a dog park overnight. So, while we were trying to take the photos all the sudden this scruffy little guy comes by and STEALS one of the “stuffy”s and runs off. No lie.
This totally freaked out the little girl of mine, and next thing I knew she was sobbing.
(side note, I may have been not very nice to the people who did not have their dog on a leash. I mean, as “not nice” as I can be anyway… I told them in a stern voice they should have their dog on a leash).
Anyway, here are some photos AFTER the stuffy-napping (don’t worry, it was recovered)(and yes, we had our dog too, but he was on a leash the entire time).
There was some football playing because Ben just can’t leave well enough alone. He’s a stinker pre-teen like that.
There were also just other general shenanigans!
In the end I got some pretty good photos of my kids. Unfortunately, we still have the same crazy amount of stuffed animals at our house.
