Takin’ the Kids to the Pool. Hee Hee.

May 3, 2010 by Elaine

You know that saying, “I dropped some kids off at the pool”?

Yeah, you do, you know it.

Well…

Guess who dropped some kids off at the pool TWICE yesterday?

That would be my Little G!!!!!*

(your welcome for no pictures of the actual event. Trust me, I was tempted.)

Oh and then later that afternoon we actually did take the kids to the pool.

Like our REAL kids.

And Baby K had her very first dip in the water.

(you’re welcome for me NOT posting the picture my husband took where I have MAJOR cleavage.)

I’m not sure if she liked it or not. She didn’t cry but she also didn’t laugh.

She kinda “yelled” at the little fountain thingys in the kiddie pool.

She made “squishy” faces when I leaned her back.

But she better get used to it because we’re going to be there A LOT this Summer!

* Tim called me last Sunday while I was still in Texas and said that Little G had tinkled on the potty twice. Since I’ve been back he’s been peeing on the pot most of the time. And then yesterday he decided that it was okay to go #2 on the potty! AND, his diaper was dry in the morning too!! Keep your fingers crossed that he keeps it up.

Also, thanks for all of your sweet, heartfelt comments on my last post. I’m feeling MUCH better since I wrote that but I felt the need to write it at the time…

I don’t know that expression! It must be kind of like how y’all didn’t know I was talking about McDonald’s when I said Rotten Ronnie’s a ways back 😉

Yay for G! He’ll keep it up, I know he will and you will be down to only one set of diapers. SQUEEEEE!

Congratulations! Nothing better than mastering the loo.

Well, maybe a husband admiring the cleavage – that’s pretty cool too 🙂

I have had to delete more than one picture my husband has taken of my cleavage. Men.

    Yea for G! And you!

Have fun swimming. I have a feeling we won’t be doing that much this summer–six kids is way too many for one mommy to keep an eye on!

Wait I’m confused—did Little G poop IN the pool, or while you were AT the pool? poop in the pool is not fun. been there, done that. ugh!

I’m really not liking this post. At all.

    You are swimming.

I shoveled snow from my deck.
