So I am feeling a TON better this weekend and Gavin and I are back in our normal nursing routine, thank goodness. On another subject, I was looking for a sling that I could “wear” Gavin in when we go out, etc. I had seen one at the baby expo but it was pretty expensive and I found this less expensive, more user-friendly one on the web. It’s called a “slingling!” I used it for the first time on Friday out and about and got several compliments and comments on it. Gavin was able to fall asleep in it while I walked around a store and it’s actually quite comfortable. It’s a hit with us both. Here’s our new look.
Today my friend Claudia and I went to get pedicures while Tim watched all the boys by himself, meaning Ben, Ethan, Gavin and sort of Daniel (he’s really old enough not to be “watched”). Unfortunately there was a little “fingers-slammed-in-door” incident while Ben and Ethan were playing in which a few of Ethan’s fingers wound up there and Ben felt just awful about it. All the while we were getting our toes painted! Tim handled it quite well with a little assistance from Daniel (who’s 13). I am going somewhere with this… Anyway, when she and I returned all was quiet on the Alguire front and the boys were ALL napping! I was surprised when Tim said that Ben was sleeping in our room because he never does that and when I went to check on him I was even more suprised to find him in this state – asleep under and on several pieces of clothing that I had removed from my dresser to give away. I asked Tim about it and he said that Ben was most certainly on the bed in our room when he left him and somewhere between his departure and Ben actually falling asleep he wound up like this…
Yes, on the floor and using most of the clothes as a pillow, an old pajama jumper thingy as a blanket and most important, the Wiggles slippers! Gotta love this picture! I truly will never get how the male species can so easily sleep on the floor! One of life’s mystery’s I guess…
