K wrote all over the tile floor in pink crayon yesterday. She’s always had access to more things at a young age than the boys ever did. We have this coloring/art table in the corner of our living room and she goes there a lot to draw (I use the term lightly). But this day she thought the tiles made a good canvas as well. Thank goodness for magic erasers.
G and I worked in his pre-school workbook for a bit during K’s nap and it’s sort of amazing to me what he already knows. Sometimes I feel like he is the typical middle child, right now anyway, his work and accomplishments getting muddled in with the oldest’s “real” school and the youngest, well just being the “baby” (and a girl, let’s face it).
And these days K bosses the boys and demands things and cutely brushes her too-long bangs from her face, showing those blue eyes to the world.
You know girl, if you would JUST leave a doggone clip or bow in your hair…
She wants yogurt for breakfast and likes to be carried around the house and makes me laugh every day.
These kids.
They are amazing. I’m so blessed to be their mother.

This motherhood thing….I tell you! It’s so rewarding, but so crazy all at the same time! She is so, so pretty – I love her long blonde hair, with our without a bow! 🙂

Aw. Seriously. Being a mom is the best thing ever. I keep all the practice spelling tests I give my first grader. I love his writing, and his pictures. I can’t toss any doodles out from either one of my boys! Sigh!
I LOVE the pictures of your baby girl… she’s so cute, Elaine!

Awww – yes, Baby R drew all over our entry way tiles as well. Thank goodness it was crayon and not something more permanent. And she also won’t leave a barrette in her hair. 🙂 They are so fun, aren’t they?
