Lately I’ve been looking for more inspiration for my scrapbooking and I bet y’all will never guess where I found it. Yep, on some blogs.
I really had no scope of how many wonderful ideas are out there until recently. So, in the interest of making sure the ideas keep flowing, I have started a scrapbooking blogroll to highlight some of the blogs I have found so far and will continue to add to it.
One of the blogs I came across is Adrienne’s and she’s started having sketch “challenges” in which she provides an inspirational sketch and us scrappers can complete a project based on the design. I missed the first one (although I suspect one of my future layouts will closely resemble it…) but I have entered the following page into her Sketch 2 challenge.
I don’t have pictures for it yet because I keep fogetting to take my camera to the pool. I know excuses, excuses. But I LOVED this paper for summer/pool fun and couldn’t just let it sit there any longer. And now I have a goal to make sure I take some pics of water fun before the summer is out! (way to catch up on the kazillion pics that I ALREADY have, huh?)
I still kind of feel like this page needs some additional ebelishment but maybe that will come to me once I get the pictures down. I am just proud of myself for accomplishing something. Hope I can keep it up and next time I will try to do a layout that actually has pictures to go with it! Yeah, that’d probably good…

It’s great that you are finding inspiration for scrapbooking from so many places.
I’m a contributer on a site called The Sketch Book. You might have read about it on my blog. You are most welcome to join up! We have members from all over the world, and we run regular challenges (Friday Night challenges, Book of Me challenges, as well as a sketch challenge every second Wednesday). We’ve also had some amazing Celebrity Challenges, and there are some pretty cool prizes up for grabs!

Very cool. I really need to get back into scrapbooking. I have tons of stuff and way too many pictures, but nothing is organized! Love the page!
