Both of my boys like books a lot but are obviously at very different levels when it comes to which books they are “reading” (since B is actually reading and G is still learning his alphabet!) But The Robot book is great because The B Man can read it to Little G while he plays with the fun, moving parts! And, Baby K even had fun touching the parts and making them move, when she finally got a turn. Plus, the book had a fabulous message.
Here’s some more about the book…
A Book To Spark Young Imaginations!
This robot has two eyes, two arms, and two legs, but what really makes him tick? Inside The Robot Book, Heather Brown answers that question with an interactive story that will enchant tinkerers of all ages. The working—and moving—gears, cogs, nuts, and bolts mounted on each beautifully illustrated spread will keep little fingers busy and imaginations engaged as the charming story reveals the secret behind what really makes the robot tick.
The Robot Book is a unique way to introduce children to one of life’s most important lessons: It’s what’s on the inside that counts. With striking artwork, interactive components, and a poignant message, it’s impossible not to fall in love with The Robot Book. Perfect for year-round gift giving!
I have THREE Robot books to giveaway!
All you have to do to enter to win one is leave a comment, but please don’t say something as boring as “pick me” because that’s just no fun. Tell me what your favorite kind of pie is or what your kids were for Halloween or how much you love me. ANYTHING else…
Giveaway ends on Friday, November 5th at midnight. I will choose the winners via random.org.
Please make sure I have a way to get in touch with you should you win and good luck! 🙂

I haven’t started collecting books for Baby Girl yet, but I’d love for this one to be the first. (Who am I kidding? I want to read it myself! I love robots! But I promise to share it with Baby Girl also when she comes along!) Let’s see…my favorite pie is apple, and I dressed up as the pregnant lady who gave out the fun sized Twix to the neighborhood kids. (Not very creative, I know, but I can honestly say I’ve never been that before, so it was new to me).

We had 450 kids for halloween trick or treat last night….that amounted to 3 hours with the front door open and $150 in candy. RIDICULOUS..
Oh and we had an open house for friends at the same time so we had 30 people inside the house partying..
Boo!

Hey! Pick me!!
Ha! Just kidding. We went trick-or-treating last night and ended up with more candy than has been in my house in a year…I’m thinking the trash can is going to be full soon.

How much do I love you, let me count the ways! You are sweet and kind and I wish for us to meet in real life very soon.
Now pick me!
Ha! I had to say it, you know, since you said not to. I am a rebel like that.

I think my favorite kind of pie is apple, but I’m very picky about crust and apple texture and such.
We had Josh Hamilton, Optimus Prime, Daphne, Jessie, and a pumpkin and a baby in skeleton jammies.
I love you because you are real and honest!

Well I just have to enter this since my oldest was a robot for Halloween and loves them. It looks like a great book. E is just starting to read himself and I can’t wait until he is able to read a book to his brother or sister on his own. Thanks for the chance, Elaine.

Looks like a cool book…..and I do love reading your blog….but you don’t have to pick me because I just spent the weekend organizing our 519 childrens books on different bookshelves in different books and another cold mess up the delicate balance 😉

Now I have to comment. My favorite pie is pumpkin and my kids were a “pink Jasmine” and Woody and love you bunches and bunches.

I made my kids be creative this year and come up with their own costumes. My daugher went as a basketball player, my son as a Jedi.

Ooh ooh! Pick me!
We need this book in our house — my little guy is all about Robots. We make robots out of random things around the house. My boy even asked to be a robot for Halloween, but that was after he asked to be an astronaut and after i purchased astronaut costume, so maybe next year. I also led along a cute little giraffe on Halloween night.
Kelly says
Ok, my favorite kind of pie is Cherry Pie. For Halloween, my 4 year old daughter dressed up as a pink princess and my 2 year old son dressed up as Spider-Man. Awesome Giveaway – Thanks for the chance!

I’m a total Cheapy McCheaperston so I love free stuff. But I won’t say Pick Me. Definitely not. Definitely WON’T say…
Pick me.
J was Mario for Halloween and Emma was a leopard. And I’m not a pie person. I much prefer spice cake.

On Monday morning, after discovering I’m having a girl this time (!!!!), I peed my pants in the parking lot while simultaneously throwing up a water/stomach acid mixture. While very gross, it wasn’t as embarrassing as it sounds because it was lunchtime so we were the only people in the OB parking lot.
Mendie says
I love pecan pie, pumpkin pie and carmel apple pie….in that order.
;o)
Jamie Lynn says
Apple pie. Pumpkin pie. Pecan pie. Chocolate pie. Not cherry pie. Not peach pie. Lemon meringue pie. Not coconut cream pie.
My Nate was a dinosaur for Halloween. He Roaaarrred alot but did not like the scary mask costumes.

Cool book concept. My son (7) is reading chapter books but still loves picture books too. With a little one on the way, I’m trying to build up our library again.
