PT stands for Pretty Tired.

March 29, 2012 by Elaine

So I started that PT for my ankle and it actually turns out my ENTIRE right side from lower back down is a tad messed up.  Who knew?  Apparently my right hip sits further forward than my left and that explains a lot of my issues.

And this morning this physical therapist/chiropractor dude with big muscles threw my body around like a sack of potatoes and now I’m sore and have some pain in my back.  But my ankle feels pretty good.

He also put needles in me, as in acupuncture.  Uh huh.

I was celebrating getting older earlier in the week but now I’m starting to re-think that.

Anyway, I’m laying here in my new craft-matic bed (it’s actually a Serta but I still like to call it that, just for funsies…) and moaning while I edit a few pictures I’ve taken recently.

That’s about all I can muster.  When did 37 turn into 87?

Advil anyone?

 Love the red.
Doesn’t it kinda look like I’m wearing a strapless dress of cement?! Ha!
Pretty weeds.  Anyone know what these are?
Last of the azaleas

They just studied China at school.  And in other news, he’ll be EIGHT on Monday. Ack!

This last one is a glimpse into my daily life.  Our living room, me doing something on my laptop, K yelling at her brothers (out of the picture on the left), while trying to play a game on my phone.  I promise we went outside minutes later and ate organic snacks while out there reading books and learning foreign languages. Oh and crafting. Yes, totally…….

;-P

I love taking shadow pictures hehe.

And the last one is awesome! It looks like a glimpse into mine, except my toddler is usually yelling at me or the TV. Ahem.

Love that last one. It’s good to see others live a “normal” life just like we do! 🙂

Your house is so neat and tidy!

I’m sorry your physical therapy left you in pain. That sucks!! I’m pretty messed up on my left side too. I regularly have pain that goes from my lower back, through my hip and knee, into my ankle. It sucks.

My living room looks like that in that I’m on the couch with my computer and at least one kid is yelling. But you’d have to add a lot of junk and clutter to make it really look like my living room. 😉

    Hope the PT helps!

Wow. Your living room is really clean. 🙂

I have this issue with my hip. I did some research on it and basically it is from compensating for my jacked up back and I pretty much just have to live with it. Getting old sucks.

Isn’t it something how one small thing can affect so many other things?

I’ve always wanted to do accupuncture. I’ve heard it does wonders for many different things.

I’m headed to the sports doc in the morning. Damn hip. Damn.

Also for what’s it worth my living room looks just the same daily. Only you need to add a lot more toys to step on!

My brother in-law does acupuncture and lots of the family swears by it, but I am afraid! I prefer the good old Advil myself. Hope everything is working like your 37 again soon. 🙂

I love those pretty weeds too. I have some growing in my yard. I’m inspired to capture them after seeing how great yours turned out. I don’t know the name, but I think my mom does. I’ll try to remember to ask. Hope everything is back to normal with all of those pains soon!

I feel ya sister. I had PT this morning too, and I have the same problem with my hips. I swear it’s from carrying kids around on the hip for the last 10 years. I haven’t had acupuncture though. Does that help?

Love your pics, especially the last one. I can totally relate 😉

I get to go to PT twice a week – I have been going since mid February after I had ACL reconstruction surgery on my knee.
It’s hard work, but I can definitely see the results.
You seem to have a great sense of humor, and that always helps!
