Nice to have you here this week. The leaves are lovely.
Fall never seems to hang around long enough, does it? We had summer last week, and winter this week.
Thanks for joining in! I love the picture! It is like that here too!
Very nice photo, Elaine! You know that I know what you mean about this season taking its time to change around here – ugh! It is very cool tonight – yippie!
Take care – Kellan
I would take all the summer I could get. Then again, this is Wisconsin. We don’t get a ton of summer weather around here, and the winters last FOREVER!
Welcome to PSF!
welcome, welcome!!! love the pink leaf. i just loved the leaf change when i was in the US a few weeks ago
Gotta love Texas for the summers that last forever. We get a blink of fall, a nano-second of winter, a blink of spring and then it’s hot as heck all over again!
Great picture. I’ve actually had a great time taking pictures of the changing leaves myself this week!
Our weather is all wonky around here too…I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind already!!
That said, if the weather WAS doing all it was suppposed to , you would have gotten such a cool shot!!
Glad you participated in PSF with us. I hope you join us again!
You’ll love photostory friday, Elaine – it always generates lots of comment love.
No leaves left on the trees at all here… I guess that’ why we celebrate Thanksgiving in October in Canada – so that we can enjoy the fall colours. Well… it’s one of the reasons, anyway.
PS: Texas for Mexican food? Definitely a MUST ;^)
Our leaves finally hit full color this week but the grass is still green and then it rained and now all the dead leaves are everywhere and we didn’t have time to enjoy them!
I know what you mean. I want to be able to wear a pair of jeans ALL day. Maybe even a long sleeved shirt. That’s not too much to ask for, is it?
This is a Texas autumn to a “T”! Don’t you get a little jealous with all the people that post about the weather changes and the light dust of snow and the reason to light a fireplace? I do… until January, and then I am thankful for the warmer Texas weather.
Happy Anniversary too!
One of my favorite things about fall is how the leaves change colors…gorgeous!
Still a wonderful photo. But you’re right…where is fall? It’s FINALLY chilly here, today. It’s been in the 70s for the past two weeks. it’s crazy!
YES!!! I feel ya, girl! I want cocoa and fire weather!!
You are preaching to the choir girl.
So nice! The weather here is so wintry already, and all our leaves are gone.
The weather is crazy here too. It doesn’t seem right. I’ve had the windows open in the house the last two days. Taking advantage now because I know or at least hope that FALL is coming soon. Or we’ll skip fall and go straight to winter, but oh how I hope not.
nice composition! lovely fall colors indeed.
Earth
Enjoy it while you can!
The leaves are pretty but then they, well, fall and we are left with winter. Boo winter.
my grass is still green – but that is all the green I see around here!!!!
Beautiful shot Elaine, I’m so happy you joined in. Our fall has come and gone already. WAH!!
I really can’t relate…sorry!
It snowed 10 inches to the west of us yesterday. Ugh. I am dreaming of Hawaii already.
it doesnt know that it is fall here either! it was like 80 degrees today! Craziness I tell ya!
it appears as though fall has already left us?? maybe it’s headed to you? bc we seem to be enjoying winter. maybe even snow this weekend.
snow and winter?? i can’t believe i just typed that!!
I love Fall leaves, but mostly because they mean I get to decorate for Christmas soon!
Pretty leaves! You need to head over to our cold, dark, wet weather.
Beautiful. I so love fall pics
All the leaves have been gone here for a few weeks now!
I like that picture – although I’m a bit envious your yard still looks like summer. We are VERY into fall here, raking leaves and everything. Not to mention we had snow last week – bleck!
What a pretty picture!! We are so far along I don’t think I can even remember what summer looks like!!
We definitely need some cooler weather around here. I am ready to wear long sleeved without sweating.
I tagged you!
Bite your tongue. I’m loving this weather.
