Oh yes, Phineas and Ferb

The last couple of weeks before school started we were kind of grasping for straws as to what to do.

Okay, yes, there was a trip to the beach but I mean before and after that.

It seemed like we had done all the camps and watched the LEGO movie enough and it was WAY TOO HOT to go outside unless we were at the pool.

So, inside the nice, cool house we re-discovered a show that we had not seen in a while…

Honestly, I did not really watch it with them, but I was listening in the background and having memories of when my oldest used to watch it and laugh at theses guys inventions and antics.  When he was six or so, this was his very favorite show.

One of our, I mean the kids’, favorite episodes is the one when the boys actually do get busted and are sent to “reform school”.  It’s the only time I’ve ever seen Candace truly happy. Until she realizes she actually misses them… Thank goodness it was all… oh wait, guess I shouldn’t ruin it.  I hate spoilers so… 😉

But really, the show is always great because these dudes come up with such neato contraptions and of course Doofenshmirtz also keeps things interesting, trying to take over the ti-state area and all.

I am actually mostly partial to Perry the platapus than any of the other characters.  His quiet demeanor and cute hat are pretty much my favorite.

And their mom is totally clueless. I guess, considering everything they do, that is a good thing.

Any shows you watched a while ago and have rediscovered on Netflix?

And now that school has started (for many of us anyway) here are some great shows to help your kids to keep learning even after they get home from school!  (we can fool them like that, right?)
