Not Me Monday – My First Edition

January 5, 2009 by Elaine

I’ve decided to participate in Not Me Monday this week – hosted by MckMama. It’s my first time! I’ve seen this on some other blogs that I enjoy and think it’s alot of fun so… here goes!

I DID NOT squeal like a child when I got “Wuffy” back from the zoo on Friday. (see this post). {For those of you who were concerned, The B Man remembered Thursday night that he actually left him at the zoo while going to the bathroom. And! He remembered while we were praying that night. I’m gonna say that was probably divine intervention!}

I DID NOT drive all the way out to the zoo that same morning to get the beloved stuffed animal after the hubs called them and they said they had him!

I DID NOT help myself to a turkey melt (and fries) from Steak & Shake after my 5K race on Saturday.

I DID NOT have the most fun re-organizing my pantry this weekend with things from The Container Store {I wish I had taken a “before” picture, ’cause WOAH!, you shoulda seen it!}

I DID NOT fold 3 loads of laundry right out of the dryer and then never put them away. No, I NEVER do that!

I DID NOT agonize over the fact that I have tons of pictures that need to be organized and/or scrapbooked just sitting on my desk.

I DID NOT throw away VOGUE magazines from 10 years ago in all the purging I did from this house the other day.

I DID NOT look in my newly re-organized pantry like 1,000 times once it was done. That would be just silly! ; )

I DID NOT forget to schedule a MUCH NEEDED hair appointment and thus still have bad hair.

I DID NOT get frustrated with how long it was and call for my husband to bring the scissors and just start cutting Little G’s hair for the first time (meaing my first time to cut it myself). Nope, not me… (please tell me it looks okay)

Ok, that’s all for my first “Not Me” Monday! Hope everyone has a great day! : )
