Pretty much EVERY evening this is how the nightly routine goes for The B Man.
First the P.J.s go on (every other night this happens after a bath with baby brother), then there is a little playing of trains.
After that Daddy usually arrives home from work and there is much hugging and kissing.
Next, he and Daddy play a train game on the computer for a few minutes, in which the main goal is to “crash” the train.
Then it’s usually about time to go read a book with Daddy. Can anyone venture a guess as to what the book is probably about? (Hint: It starts with a ‘T”)
So, where do I come in? Oh, I get the last and very best part. Prayers. It’s so cute to pray with my son and I love this time with him right before he drifts off to sleep.
He just left to go read with Daddy a few minutes ago and as he walked away he asked, “But will Mommy come and say my prayers and Father?”
(a.k.a. “Our Father…” or “The Lord’s Prayer.”)
These are the times I will always remember and treasure. One of my prayers? Thank God for my sweet little boys…

aw that is so sweet! 🙂
My little man loves prayer time, too. And if we forget (which doesn’t happen often) he says “pray to Jesus, mom!”. Kids are the sweetest and most precious gifts.

Very sweet post. Do you feed your kids before your hubby gets home? I know a lot of moms who have to do that because the husband gets home later. I had a question for you. I have noticed that your blog traffic has greatly increased. Can you give me some pointers to get more readers? I don’t have any family in the blog world.
Thanks,
glory

I am glad to see other parents do baths every other night.
