I completed my 3rd 10K this weekend.
I ran the entire time and it was THE first time I ever ran over 4 miles straight!! I had a friend running with me and I think that really helped keep me going and it made the time go by SO much faster! (Thanks Lindsey!)
My official time was 1:01:40 and I’m pretty darn happy with that. My quads were screaming all day Sunday though but that’s okay, that means I used them well.
Now on to this half marathon thing…which is less than 3 weeks away! EEK!
In other news, I also got a new camera last week and lovingly refer to it as my fourth child.
It’s a Nikon D90 so some of you surely understand why. 🙂
SUPER SQUEE!!!
It takes some pretty awesome pictures. And the 50mm lens I bought back in the spring actually works on it (it did not auto focus on my previous camera. bad news with kids).
Plus, I’ve offered to take pictures of some of my friends and their families so that I can get more experience photographing other people in general, and especially other kiddos. Not that mine aren’t cute. 😉
It’s a bit daunting to taking pics of other people but I have done it once before and Sunday I had my first photo shoot with a family (the mom is my friend) and it went pretty well. More on that later this week…
Happy Miss-Elaine-ous Monday everyone! 🙂
