We had a lovely 3-day weekend and I’m so glad that Tim took Friday off to relax and spend some time extra time with us. He made Ben his favorite Birthday breakfast (Belgian waffles with whipped cream) and we also went to an outdoor concert and picnic in town.

On Saturday we drove to Baton Rouge on a whim and visited Whole Foods and ate lunch at P.F. Chang’s. SQUEE!! (we don’t have either of those here) We also toured the U.S.S. Kidd, a destroyer that is docked there on the Mississippi River.
I took these pics of Tim and the boys while there. He needs to be in some pictures too, right?
Yesterday we had a wonderful Easter Day and while “out on the bayou” at a friends’ parent’s home for Easter lunch, Tim took this picture of me and Baby K.
I love it. And I love the fact that Krystyn has started Mommy and Me Monday since I am getting lots of great pictures of me with my children. Such a great idea! Thanks girl!
Ben is a man after my heart…I love Belgian waffles, too!
