We were expecting some pretty fierce storms due to Tropical Storm Lee but instead we just got a really soggy holiday weekend.
Honestly, I think Tim is/was a tad disappointed. There was a small tree branch down in someone’s yard on the way home from church today so I that’s kinda bad, right?
I’m thankful it was nothing more in our area and the rain is always good. I know how jealous my family and friends in Texas are.
This morning I let K go play in it for a bit after we got home from church and Tim took the boys with him to make sure all was well at his office building that is a little farther south (it was, by the way…)
She got to try out her new rain boots and get outside for a bit (which she loooooves) and I may have brought my camera outside with us…
So… if this is what a tropical storm is like then I’m all for it.
Funny thing? The “eye” supposedly went right over our area. Proving to me that obviously that is NOT the most dangerous part of the storm.
And any excuse to wear sassy rain boots is all good in my book. 🙂

And I LOVE the rain boots. Abbey has hello kitty ones she wears all the time. I didn’t even buy snow boots this year, because she refused to wear anything besides the rain ones 🙂
I’m glad you’re only getting a little rain!

Cute Boots!
We had Hurricane Irene last weekend, unfortunately she had a little more impact on our area.
*sigh*
Happy you found a way to enjoy the weekend even though it was wet.

Well it really wasn’t any bigger than just a regular thunder storm so that’s probably why it didn’t seem like much. I was so happy that we got rain all day on Saturday and Sunday. I wish it would have hit further west though where the fires are bad.
