Okay, so there is only one of each but I was trying to make the title sound like the Wizard of Oz thing, ok? Let’s not get too picky.
Today is a day for blogging business so here I go “takin’ care of business!”
First off, Stephanie at Adventures in Babywearing tagged me for a book meme. Did y’all catch that? Did you see who tagged me? Lemme just say that I love Steph and am totally excited that she thought to tag me. I feel so honored because she is the queen of slings and all things baby wearable. Not to mention she seems just a skosh bloggy famous to me. Anywho, thanks Steph!
I have done this one before but I thought it fitting to do a page out of a certain book I have been skimming parts of lately (because well… trying to wean a baby here).
Pick up the nearest book.
New Mother’s Guide to Breastfeeding
Open to page 123 and find the fifth sentence. Post the next 3 sentences.
“You many find situations in which you just don’t feel at all comforable breastfeeding while others are present, especially in the early weeks as you and your baby are learning your breastfeeding skills. In these cases , simply excuse yourself and go to another area to nurse, or express your breastmilk ahead of time and feed it to your baby in a bottle when you need to after the baby is three to four weeks old. You may wonder how you will adjust to working while continuing to breastfeed.”
Thrilling, I know.
I am supposed to tag 5 people but I’m gonna skip that part today. If you want to share 3 sentences from page 123 of your nearest book, go for it!
Nextly (I know, not a word but it’s my blog, k?), the most wonderful why-do-you-have-to-live-in-Canada-cause-if-you-lived-here-we-could-actually-hang-out Kami gave me this cool award. Ain’t it cute?
I am passing this on to Kristen because her blog has quickly become one of my favorite reads and well, I do love her blog to pieces! Especially her new look!
I also want to send this on to Elise because she has also become a bloggy friend recently and she lives in Australia. How cool is that? Oh and her second baby is due very soon and well, she just needs some extra love now, don’t ya think?
Last but not least, I really want to win one of the cutie-pie shirts from the little giveaway over at Andrea’s blog, The Laughs Will Go On. She has a new cutie-pie of her own and you gotta she her all dolled up in one of these onsies!
That’s it for today peeps. Have a good one! : )
