I loaded the red wagon with a vanilla wafer and banana snack for each and a drink to share. They climbed in, both clinging to their favorite lovies/stuffies and their little shoed feet almost touching.
We set out for a little walk around the block but K quickly remembered our neighbor’s play-scape that sits in the almost empty lot next to their house. It was put there for their grandchildren but my kids are welcome to play anytime. It’s lovely.
For some reason I had grabbed my camera, because well, I’m THAT mom…
And truthfully, I am SO very glad that I am. 🙂
see K’s ear sticking out on the left? That’s where she cut her OWN hair. *sigh*
These silly kids make my heart go pitter patter…

Shots like these are my favorite as they really just capture who they are and childhood which goes too fast.

You’re not the only one that’s glad you grabbed your camera before you left. How else would we have seen these sweet, happy faces playing in the sun. What an awesome post. You sure do take some amazing pictures!
