I have not worn a watch in YEARS.
The battery died in a lovely watch Tim gave me for an anniversary or a birthday many moons ago (I cannot remember, sorry honey, I do not have a memory like an elephant like you…) and I never got it replaced. So, I just stopped wearing a watch. Because it’s kind of silly to wear it when the time is ALWAYS at 5:23, right?
Then I just got used to not wearing one. I realized I could just check the time on my computer or on my phone if out and about. Or on the microwave if in the kitchen. Or the stupid alarm clock, when it went off and woke me up. (alarm clocks are so wrong).
But I am back to wearing a watch. Through the power of PR I came across JORD wood watches and I am so glad I did. I chose this one to try out:
Ain’t she pretty? Simplicity at it’s best, I say.
It’s lightweight, a great color and super stylish.
And you know what? Turns out it’s a lot easier to just look down at my wrist to check the time, instead of fumbling for my phone in my purse!
Plus it likes to go on family walks with me. Oh yes, 5:10 – time to go make dinner! Who’s up for going home now and sweating less?
It was right at home with me in Key West too…
I have gotten several comments on it already and and when I told one lady that it was wood she said, “Wow, look at that!”
I am pretty sure one of these watches would look really good on YOUR wrist too!
Go here to peruse their awesome selection… (they have many great styles for men as well, and this would make a great gift for a special man in your life!)
Who wants to win one? YOU do? I thought so!

I wear a watch when I am going out of the house, but not when I’m at home, generally..

I do wear a watch most of the time, but not as much in summer. I’ve gotten tan lines too often before. I would love one of these though.

I’m like you, I don’t wear a watch (well, like the former non-watch-wearing-you!), because my old one ran out of battery and er, that was that. But I do love the Jord watches, they’re gorgeous!

Yep…I love watches
I don’t wear one either but I just said to J. that I’m so sick of digging through my purse to find my phone to find out what time it is. Unless he’s with me, then I just ask him!
These are so cute!
I love watches – what have I never seen one if these before? So chic and unique. Love it!

I feel naked when I’m not wearing a watch. The fabulous wooden JORD watch is definitely a conversation starter. My students would have plenty to say about it- my own kids, too!
I love the Ely in Black. I haven’t worn a watch in years – I lost the last one my hubby gave me but found it this weekend during spring (ok, summer) cleaning! It’s been almost 3 years since I lost it – I’m definitely wearing watches again!
I don’t currently wear a watch, but I have been thinking about starting to wear one again – I don’t like clicking my phone every time I want to check the time! This Jord one is gorgeous! (And you look amazing in this photo)

I do too! Phones begone!
Watches are my husbands latest obsession. He has like four of them? I feel the need to catch up, or maybe I would get him one.

I wear a watch all the time!
Haven’t worn a watch in a while for the reasons you stated. But, this watch intrigues me.
I used to wear a watch all the time. I would love a new one because I rather look at my wrist than dig for my phone.

I wear watches and bracelets…in fact most of my watches are bracelet watches but this one is so pretty and unusual that I would seriously consider buying one. I like jewelry like this, that is a little different, a little intriguing.
it looks so pretty on you Elaine.

I love watches! I wear one almost every day, even if it’s just a cheap cute one. I love the wooden one you picked out, it goes with everything.

I have a silver watch – but can’t wear it with gold jewelry so this would be perfect!
It’s gorgeous! So pretty. I have a closet full of watches with dead batteries so, clearly, I need a new one

I also haven’t worn a watch in a couple of years, after all my cheapo ones died. They are too cheap to just replace the batteries, so I’m looking for a new one! These watches are so unique and stylish – I love them!

That watch is super cute. I haven’t worn a watch in forever, and it is a shame because I have a really nice one that David bought for me.

Ooh, I love this!!! That is such a cool watch and would definitely look great on my wrist
Love the feel of wood jewelry.
This watch is different I would definitely wear it
I can’t remember why I stopped wearing a watch. It was before I had a smart phone. I think mine just broke, and I was always trapped at home with the microwave clock to tell me the time. I really like the large watches that are in style now. That wood one is super cool!

My watch wearing ended exactly the same way yours did, with a dead battery that I never replaced. I have a friend with a Jord watch and I love it! I love the one you have, the Ely in Maple. So pretty!

I wear a watch daily, but I don’t have a fancy wooden one! In fact, I’ve never even seen a wooden one. Looooooove.
I did for a while. And then the battery died… You know the rest of the story.
