I’ve always thought there was a little MAGIC in all things small. Like fairies and leprechauns and well, when I was a little girl, even barbie shoes.
Yes I know, I’m weird.
I had a “Littles” doll house that I got one Christmas (I don’t think they make Littles anymore and the “baby” of the family figures was SO small that I was surprised to see that my Mom STILL has it at her house!) and I LOVED placing the furniture around the house and making everything in their tiny home just so.
And for some reason I had a memory of all of this while the boys decorated their annual gingerbread house yesterday. And I could see the MAGIC in their eyes.
Ah, to be a kid at Christmas again. It really is so very MAGICal. 🙂
My favorite is G looking at the house in wonder. A house you can eat! That is magical!

Christmas sure is magical, isn’t it? And we may not be kids anymore, but having our kids with us does bring the magic back. 🙂
