This little bundle made me a “Mommy” seven years ago today.

This is one of my favorite pictures of him ever taken (at age 2).  He no longer has those two front baby teeth.

Today he is a soccer playing, reading, writing, joke-telling, brother and sister-loving, sweet, sensitive boy.   His blue eyes are just like his Daddy’s and he has a fierce love of dessert, just like his Mommy.  I can barely not really at all pick him up anymore, but I can hug the snot out of him!!
He loves dinosaurs right now and picking out his own outfits to wear.  He tells me stories about his friends at school pretty much every day when I pick him up and he’s pretty fast with his homework.  Even fractions.

He sings in the shower and rides his bike pretty fast.  Lately he’s been helping more around the house and generally growing up way too fast.

He still loves his “stuffies” like crazy (all 80 of them)(okay, maybe not that many, but there are A LOT) and they cover his bed.

He’s a model student at school and gets wonderful remarks from his teacher.  He’s a good friend and a wonderful and loving brother, son, grandson, nephew and cousin.

I’m so very proud of him and I couldn’t ask for a better 7-year old.

and yes, he’s kinda serious but right after this pic was taken he started laughing..

I love you Benjamin.  You are my sweet boy and a part of my heart forever and ever and ever.

Happy Birthday my baby!!

xoxo,
Mommy
