Good hair, the beach and my dog

What do these things have in common, you may ask.  Well, they have to do with my top-liked Instagram photos from last year.  Let’s face it people, phone photography (“phonography”?) has taken over.  I do not remember the last time I saw someone with a “real” camera, except at a photoshoot or big event (or myself, occasionally).

The phone is just so darn handy and usually attached to most people’s hands. According to these favorite photos, my followers like to see my hair, my awesomely cute kids and dog, and the beach.  See the proof below.

The photo in the very middle, of my fresh cut and color, was THE most liked one in 2015 and it’s from January.  Who knew I could have stopped posting then since I topped out at the beginning of the year! LOL.

I think my favorite shot in this group is the one of me from the back, at the beach.  I didn’t actually take it, a good friend of mine did (that would have been a neat trick if I had though, right?) but it’s me, at one of my very favorite places AND it’s even more special because my friend took the time to capture me in that moment. That was a really good day.

Of course I also love that other people liked pics of my three “babies”.  Well, four if you count Oliver.

There’s also a winner from my rockin’ and rollin’ (skating) 40th birthday party and my elusive clean living room.  As well as a shot of my parents’ Christmas tree.  My own tree didn’t make the cut. Go figure.

The very top, left photo is of the tree-line drive that leads to the kids’ school campus. It’s classically Southern and just so lovely.

I could go through and choose my favorites but because these were so well liked I figured I would feature them.  And no, you cannot have my adorable dog.  Or my cute kids.

But you can know from these photos that my life is full. Full of love and joy and people and goodness.

And that is really all that matters to me, among the many “likes”.
