Gardens & Weddings

May 4, 2011 by Elaine

I think I may have had a little bit of You Capture ESP as I went around taking pictures, OUTDOORS, in my mother’s front yard/gardens while in Texas at Easter.  I just love her statues and various knick-knacks that she has placed all around.

Last Saturday we had the wedding of our friends.  Remember the lovely bride I took bridal photographs for?
Well the wedding was at her parents’ home, down on the bayou (how “Steel Magnolias” is that?) and I am pleased to say that they have several of the photos I took proudly displayed in their home.  WOW.

It was a wonderful event and we are so happy for the newlyweds.  Such good people.

Here are a few shots from the lovely nuptials…

Oh! I just LOVE the idea of an outside wedding like that! (when we renew our vows, I’m hoping to have an outdoorsy Steel Magnolias wedding… right down to the armadillo cake 😉
