We have the cutest dog. You can argue that point by saying that you have the cutest dog if you have a dog but I’m sorry, everyone in this family will dispute that since we know our dog is cuter. Sure, your dog is probably pretty cute. I know. Dogs are cute. But OUR dog is the ultimate in cuteness, there’s just no denying it.
He’s also my snuggle buddy (don’t judge, you would not be able to kick this soft, warm creature out of your bed either, trust me). He has slept with the kids a few times, or in his kennel but he’s usually in with me and the hubby. We are all totally smitten with him. He really is THE cutest. See?
He also has a long list of nicknames…
Ollie
Ollie-kins
Olivier (Oh-live-ee-ay)
Kinsey
Sweetie-Petey
Pedros (no idea)(not MY idea)
Such a guy
“Subway Fresh” (no lie, the 7-year old occasionally calls him this)
Crazy that he still knows his real name, right?
(there are some I omitted because they are complete nonsense, kind of like a couple of the other ones up there…)
While the kids were out of school to honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday we watched “The Adventures of Milo and Otis” and I did not know before I turned it on that it was REAL animals. I had never seen it before. At first B grumbled a bit about me turning it on but it did not take long for all three kids to be assembled in the living room, glued to the screen, watching the adorableness of Milo and Otis (and their other animal friends). I may have even “Awwed” a time or two myself.
And here’s the cutest dog watching the movie too. He really enjoyed barking at Milo.
Netflix is all about furry friends this month and below are some suggested movies and shows that you can stream to watch animals that are cute but not quite as cute as mine.
For the little kiddos:
For the bigger kiddos:
For the moms and dads:
Frasier (gotta love Eddie)
Also, this month Netflix premiered the new The Adventures of Puss and Boots, another original series. He’s quite a character, I gotta say. The kids enjoyed watching the first few episodes, also while hanging out on the holiday. Quite entertaining and one of the only cats I like. 😉
What are you watching on Netflix this month? Who’s your favorite furry friend?

I’m not sure we should stream those movies for my kids…the five year old might get insufferable about getting a dog at that point. (much as I want one, there’s no way we can manage a pet right now) Though they do look adorable!

Okay now that we no longer have Hunter, I will concede that your dog is awfully, awfully cute. Plus he’s called Olivier! 😉

He really is a cutie (see I got it right this time). I think House of Cards comes back this month, and the hubs and I will totally be binge-watching that.

Cavaliers have ALWAYS been one of my favorites. I will have one someday, I promise. And yes, your dog is just ADORABLE. Little peanut!
Of course my Molly is my adorable little pooch. And she is just such a little (big) clown. She is the only dog I’ve ever seen who uses her paws like hands. She rolls on her back and holds her toys between her paws.It is so cute! And when we are watching a movie that has dogs in it she watches with us. So funny. If you kids haven’t seen The Incredible Journey I bet they would love it. It uses real animals too. Oh! And Babe, the pig movie. Very cute. 🙂
