I’ve always said that Spring is my favorite season.
My birthday is in Spring, as well as both of the boys’. Flowers are blooming, the trees begin to green up and there’s just this sense of renewal in the air.
Oh and Cadbury eggs. Enough said.
But Fall has started to inch it’s way to the top of the list.
The air FINALLY gets cooler after months of heat and the INSANE, make-me-sweat-the second-I-step-out-of-the-house humidity mostly disappears.
And I love to see the fall colors start to show and pumpkins, well, they’re just cool. And tasty. Especially in PIE. And bread.
I think my kids like Fall too. Our sweet neighbor gave The B Man a ghost to hang in the tree outside and he quickly made many of his own Halloween-ish paper “friends” to go with him with just crayons and paper (so cute!). This after BEGGING me to get out the Halloween decorations.
Okay, maybe they just like Halloween (or candy, whatever…)
But they willingly went to the “pumkin patch” (a.k.a local church who imports pumpkins and hosts a little carnival) on Saturday morning, picking pumpkins, going on the hayride and winding their way through the kid-friendly human maze.
It was a good time, just like last year and the memories are even better.
Yeah, Fall, I may just be “falling” for you…
Linking up to Mommy & Me at Krystyn’s palce since I’m in some pics with my kiddos! 😀
