The Bob

May 23, 2012 by Elaine

On Saturday afternoon she looked like this:

And then by Sunday afternoon (and Tuesday morning, second photo) she looked like this:

She never leaves anything in her hair (that headband only lasted a little bit) and after the “self cut” she gave herself last month that is taking FOREVER to grow back out, I figured I would give her some style.  And maybe things will even out over the Summer.

My only regret is I think I aged her by about 6 or 7 years.  Oh well, at least I’m pretty sure this style fits her sassy attitude lately…

p.s. HOW much do you LOVE that outfit in the last photo?!?!  I double dog dare you to check out Lolly Wolly Doodle on Facebook and not want to buy something.

Love the hair cut and yes, aside from her gorgeous hair that outfit was the first thing I noticed from the last photo. 🙂 By the way, I dislike getting my daughter’s hair cut too, mostly because I hate cutting away any baby hair, and it usually results in her looking older. Oh, so hard to having kids growing up sometimes…

Just got my Lexie’s hair cut in a cute bob, too! I agree, it’s so cute but does age them, sigh!

Oh I love it!! She doesn’t look any older, bite your tongue, just more adorable (if that’s even possible).

    That outfit. OMG. The cute!

Cute! She is such a doll! I got E’s haircut after Christmas and we went with a bob. I was so nervous to cut it short, but I love it on her! It will be so much easier and cooler for summer. 🙂

SO CUTE!!!! I’ve been thinking about cutting Grace’s hair too, but I just can’t do it yet. I’m not ready for that first haircut. It really does make them look all grown up.

Love her new do and the outfit is awesome. The colors are gorgeous with her light hair and complexion.
I too hate when I cut Emma’s hair, but usually love the do, just hate how.much it makes me realize that she’s getting older.
