I’ll be givin’ the ole blog a bit of a break this week.
The kids and I are doing the “Mommy drives all three kids by herself to Texas” gig again on our way to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary this Saturday.
Aren’t they sweet? (that cake looks REALLY good right now…)
This is seriously like the only pic from their wedding in which they are smiling.
Mom says they had a horrible photographer.
I say they were scared out of their wits.
But what do I know?
I’m teasing of course.
They’ve made it 50 years and still seem to like each other pretty well so…
(actually, they LOVE each other A LOT…)
By the way, the bros and I are all chippin’ in for a fabulous gift but on the off chance that my mother clicks here I can’t say what it is until after the par-tay this weekend.
(i really DOUBT she would with all she has to do, but still…)
Dad knows, she does not. And it’s WAY awesome!
So, HAPPY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY to my parents and besides a possible WW post, I’ll see you all on the flip side.
Well, except for Lisa, who I will see on Thursday night as we share a drink. WHEE!
Peace out!
XOXO,
Happy Anniversary to them! Good idea not to say…I am sure she is lurking. Have fun!
At least they had a photographer, my parents opted to not pay for one. They regret it!
Happy 50 years to your parents! And have a safe trip and wonderful time celebrating with your family!
