So, enter Tyson chicken nuggets! They are always a hit. And once I give the kiddos a veggie and some fruit to accompany them, “Hey kids, dinner” becomes really easy to say and everyone is happy with no stink eyes to be found!
Plus, I feel great about purchasing Tyson nuggets at Sam’s Club since they are currently encouraging us all to become #HungerHeroes! For every bag of nuggets you purchase Tyson Foods will donate a meal (up to 308,000 meals) through Champions for Kids to feed children across America who otherwise do not have food on their table.
Take note that in 2001, 14.9% of households (17.9 million households) were food insecure (per tysonhungerrelief.com). That is a really scary number.
But YOU can make a difference!
I should also mention that Veronica was extra nice at the demo we attended at our Sam’s Club last weekend. She may or may not have let my kids feast on the nuggets with a smile on her face the entire time. And we encouraged those around us to buy bags of nuggets too, and “proceed to feed” those in need. 🙂

That pic of you and the kids at the end is cute! We do buy Tyson nuggets but I don’t have a membership to Sam’s, we buy them at Walmart. I hope tat still counts for the campaign.

I have to tell you – I bought a box of these for Des the other day, and between the two of us, the box was gone in 24 hours!

I love this cause. If you’re going to eat anyway, why not feed someone else who needs it too?

This sounds like a great program. It always feels good to know you are helping someone.

I keep a big bag of these in the freezer for “emergencies” (i.e., when my nephew comes to visit because he won’t anything else). It feels good knowing that my purchase helps Tyson is support families in need.

I always have these on hand. I confess, I am a tired mom a lot of days, especially when the husband is working late or on call, etc…. Tyson makes great stuff (my kids also like the chicken patties and we make chicken sammies w/ them) and it takes a huge weight off of my chest, plus it’s better than McDonald’s or whatever, you know?
We belong to Costco, but I’ve been thinking about checking out Sam’s. Not sure if there’s a huge difference, but… love this post, and love all your pics w/ your SCRUMPTIOUS kids!!! xoxoxoox
I hope that my Tyson purchases from Costco might also be helping for this, but I can look into that….will start my research today!!!

More often then not, it is way easier to make food I know my kids will eat as opposed to brining on a fight nightly. Chicken nuggets are definitely on the safe list!

I always keep bags of easy chicken on hand, but haven’t bought these in years. Looks like I will have to start! It’s a no-brainer. Thanks for posting!

Even though I don’t normally buy this product (I make my own nuggets for the girls) I love what they are doing to help children in need. Great post!

We need to hit up Sams…I’m already struggling with lunch choices and these could probably easily go in a lunch box.
