aPearantly Sew… It’s a Giveaway!

Part of the reason I really like going to blog conferences is because you never know who you’re going to meet that you didn’t even know existed out here in the “internets”before. It’s inevitable because there are just SO many blogs out there.

AND…

You might just sit next to a cute and lovely lady at breakfast one morning that you’ve never met before, who not only blogs but also sews some REALLY beautiful things. That’s what happened to me when I met Alison at Blissdom back in January.

And of course once she handed me her business card and I saw the name of her blog and shop – aPearantly Sew, I was all, “I love you” because well, I’m a sucker for a play on words, if you couldn’t tell from my own title.

…after professing my love for her awesome choice in a name, we had a nice chat in the few minutes we sat together, and she definitely left an impression.  And then I came home, checked out her shop and saw the cuteness that is her talent.

I was in awe when she told me she just started sewing last June and then started her shop mostly to fund her love of fabrics!  There ARE so many lovely ones these days.  But she also told me that sewing is a wonderful creative outlet for her and that she’s always amazed at the finished product, created with her own two hands.

I’m amazed too.
