I’ve been a bit of a slacker in this department lately. My focus has been more on my writing. Which is good. But I miss photography when I do not stretch my lens. That’s my meager attempt at a metaphor.
I am proud that I’ve mostly kept up with the self-portrait a day project, but admittedly I have missed several days. It is still fun to look back at them and I really hope I can make it through the end of the year this time.
However, I just do not get my “real” camera out as much as I want lately. I blame my iPhone.
And laziness.
Thankfully I have taken some photos in the last few months and weeks that I like a lot so I thought I would share some.
I hope you like them as much as I do. 🙂
p.s. many of these are from our Spring Break trip to Galveston, since I never posted more about it besides the Moody Gardens post…
p.p.s. I have another post up on The Huffington Post – check it out and please share! 😀

Oh, beautiful! Gorgeous photos, happy memories.
I am loving my new Big Camera and totally know what you mean about streching your lens. Last weekend I actually said to my family: “Let’s go out. I want to take my new camera for a drive.” 🙂

Such gorgeous photos! And I’m right there with you on not pulling out the real camera often enough. I always feel like the phone will do well enough, but it just really isn’t the same, is it? Love all the carnival pictures and especially the colorful houses at sunset. *sigh*

I haven’t been busting out my camera much either. Need to do that!
Your photos and subjects are gorgeous, as always.
