My trip to Texas last week also included a pretty special photo shoot (or 2).
My niece (and first godchild!), Megan is getting married next year and she asked me if I would take some engagement photos for her and her fiance, Daniel.
I of course, could not say YES fast enough.
We had a great time during two separate shoots on different days.
I am warning you, there are A LOT of photos. But they are just SO cute (the couple, that is). And HAPPY. And model-like. 🙂 My shutter finger just couldn’t stop.
See for yourselves.
Here are two I shot with my phone…
I took this one on our drive back to my parents’ house. Sometimes I miss my hometown (city) of Austin. It’s kinda weird but pretty awesome.

Dang girl. I love how her red dress looks against those blue-ish flowers. So pretty! Wish you were my photographically-skilled auntie–but you’re too young for that!

I not only want you to go back in time and do my engagement photos (I didn’t have any), my wedding photos (our photographer ended up sucking and we don’t really have any) and my pregnancy and birth photos (was on bedrest and premature births). I missed out on capturing A LOT! It would be beautiful to have it all captured by you!
These are AMAZING!

I’ve only been to El Paso in Texas, but I’ve always wanted to visit Austin. My best friend was stationed there when she was in the army and she loved it there.
