Are you like me?
Do you ever wish time would just stop for a while with your kids?
Like right now, Baby K is about to enter the phase that we, at our house, like to call “the age of maximum cuteness”.
From around 16 to 20 months the little ones are just so crazy cute and sweet.
They can kinda communicate and start to branch out somewhat but are still baby-ish and still need you quite a bit.
They laugh and giggle and toddle around so innocently, with nothing much on their minds except for toys and sippy cups and snacks and being with the people they know love and nurture them…
…and in this one’s case… bath time… (she does love a good bath!)
Oh and their hair starts to grow longer, making them look like a big girl.
*sigh*
Yes, really wishing time could just stop for a while. Right now.

Yes. Lots of times. Like if I could just slow down this part and make it last longer. I think abou tthat a lot.
Kat says
Yep. We are in that stage with Grace right now. I don’t want her to grow another minute older. She is definitely at maximum cuteness. *sniff, sniff* It just goes by too quickly. And now I am getting sad knowing that I will never have another little one in my house. 🙁
Adorable pics! Yeah for bathtime! 🙂

I want to stop time too…

Yes, I know just what you mean. We have been talking a lot lately about Kamden when he was this age. He was so stinking cute and I almost forget it. Thank goodness for video!
But you can’t ever get the cuddles back or the feel of their soft silky hair on your cheek.
Sniff. Drink it up Elaine, every second!

Yes! Well, 12-18 months is usually my favorite age, but I know what you mean. There is something about every phase that you want to freeze though. Which is good I suppose.

O-M-G, Katie bug doesn’t look like a baby anymore but like a super-duper cute toddler!!!! Enjoy the calm before the storm : ).
Tricia says
too cute
Lady Mama says
That is a lovely age. I alternate being wanting time to go by, and wanting to pause it, but yes, I know exactly what you mean!
Krystyn says
Yes, such the perfect age. Talking, but not talking back.
Basically, not aware of how to act like a stinker.
Right now, we are at the stinker stage.

The age of maximum cuteness… Love that. And, yes… Slowing down Tim would be awesome.
