Sibling Sweetness

July 27, 2011 by Elaine

Sometimes I wonder what my children’s relationships with each other will be like when they are adults.  I hope they all continue to love one another and are close no matter what happens in the future.  I even kinda hope that they have little secrets and inside jokes that even Tim and I don’t know about.  I hope they get together with their own families and laugh and reminisce even after we are gone.  Yes, I certainly hope and pray that’s the way it all works out.  ‘Cause isn’t that the way it should be?

I think so.

But for now, I will cherish precious and quiet moments like this one.

I melt.

Linking up for Wordful Wednesday…

Aww, that’s so gorgeous!! I have similar photos of my 2 when they were little … Ethan would “read” to Tyler even before he knew how (he’d just memorise the words). Too cute 🙂

My sister and I have a great relationship, but neither of us have a good one with my brother. I so want my kids to be friends as they grow up. I know the teenage years will be a littl trying, but hopefully they stay close! That is too sweet!

Well put. I think about this a lot with my own 2 boys, especially since my only brother and I are not close. I can’t really say why, we just seemed to grow apart over the years and neither of us really knows how to change our dynamic. My boys say they’re best friends now & I hope they always will be!

    That picture is so precious!

I certainly hope my boys stay close as they age and become adults. Right now they are constantly at eachother’s throats and bickering ALL THE TIME! But then they have quick moments of such sweetness. It’s those moments I cling to.
